At MGA, we believe that exceptional voices should be celebrated. We strive to identify artists with distinctive voices and encourage them to focus on the right repertoire for their unique talents, traits and artistic strengths. We have a deep understanding of repertoire and carefully select only the best-suited artists from our roster for every audition. MGA also believes that one of the contributing factors to the problem of dwindling opera audiences is the lack of artist-audience connection. We look for artists with superior communication skills who work consistently to improve their craft and bring their characters to life on stage.
MGA fully understands that time is money. More importantly, given our management team’s experience on both sides of the production table, we are aware of the budget constraints that arts organizations face in the 21st century and approach negotiations accordingly. We value the efforts and time of those who provide opportunities for our artists and have already earned an outstanding reputation for prompt correspondence and fair and reasonable negotiations.
MGA recognizes the importance of diversity within our industry. MGA is led by two strong and dynamic women, Janara Kellerman and Amber Smoke and is proud to present a roster of singers from diverse backgrounds.
