The young coloratura soprano, Heera Bae is already making a name for herself in Europe on the opera and concert stage, as well as, receiving many prizes in International competitions.
In 2005 she graduated from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea and continued her studies in Italy and France graduating from the "Arigo Boito" Conservatory in Parma, Italy with high academic honors, from the The Academy in Milan in 2011 and in 2012 from the conservatory Pierre Barbizet in Marseille,France .
On the competition stage she won first place in the "Chant de Bourgogne" International Competition/Avallon, France, Vivonne International Competition and the Martini competition sponsored by Mantova, Italy. She also received top prizes in other competitions throughout Korea, Italy, France and Switzerland.
In 2007 she made her stage debut as the First Lady in Die Zauberfloete in Seoul, Korea followed by several concert performances in Parma, Italy of the Missa Brevis of Mozart, Salve Regina of Pergolesi all under the direction of Maestro Alberto Martelli.
Following engagements included concert tours throughout France in such locations as Dijon/Cathedrale Notre Dame, Borgone/Chateau de Chastellux in Tharoiseau, Lazare and in Paris-Eglise d'auteuil et Theatre du Beffroi.
In 2013 she debuted as the Queen of the Night in a production of Opera en plain air in France and in 2014 the same role in the Daegu Opera House.
In July of 2016 she will be again returning to the Queen of the Night under the baton of Maestro Gustav Kuhn at the Tiroler Festpiele.
